School Times/Day – Callistemon Campus

SPECIAL TIMES:

• Monday Morning: P-6 assembly ( front of school )
• Tuesday – Friday: All students may enter classrooms at 8:40 p.m.

ASSEMBLIES

Our Campus Assembly is held each Monday morning at 8:50am in our new gym.  All parents are most welcome to attend!  Students meet in their classrooms when the music is playing for entry into class and walk over to the gym as a group.  At our assembly we sing the National Anthem and talk to students and parents about upcoming events in and around the school.  We also reinforce our College Values of respect, learning and working together, followed by a presentation of student awards by the College Principal Team.    Our assemblies often contain student presentations, information about lunchtime activities and events and celebrations of special days.  At the conclusion of the assembly, students walk to their classroom with their teacher to begin the day’s learning.

Parents are also welcome to attend our Coffee and Chat group, which takes place after each Monday assembly in our Performing Arts centre.  The group has an informal chat about topics of interest and community events and often organise guest speakers to speak about a range of topics.  Our Coffee and Chat group also organise our Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day stalls each year for the school community.  Please contact the campus office if you require further information.
