2009 Cultural Diversity Quest
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Cultural Diversity Quest has awarded The Grange P-12 College with the
“Excellence in School and Community Partnerships Award 2009.”
The Cultural Diversity Quest is a key element of Cultural Diversity Week and is designed to help raise young people's awareness of Victoria's cultural and linguistic diversity.
The Excellence in School and Community Partnership Award is awarded to the school that has forged an innovative partnership and engaged with the local community to foster cultural awareness and celebrate diversity.
This is a whole school award and is a testament to the support and innovation that everyone has taken on over the past year and beyond to foster our diverse community here at the grange.
Furthermore Lia Pa’apa’a has been awarded the “Teacher Recognition Award” which was awarded to teachers who have done the most to promote the Cultural Diversity Quest and celebrate diversity in their school community.
Lia’s program across the whole college continues to grow, engaging students and their communities to promote and celebrate the richness of the Grange community.
