Paging students is only possible at recess, lunch and after school. Students will only be paged for emergency situations.
Visitors are not permitted on the premises without permission of a principal.

 

Office hours

Monday – Thursday    8.30am – 4.30pm
Friday        8.30am – 3.30pm   

The office will be closed at 3.30pm every Friday

Students can make payments to the administration office only.  Teachers should not collect any money from students.

The administration office accepts payments by students at the following times during office hours;

8.30 - 8.50                   Before school
10.36 – 11.00             Recess
12.36 – 1.26                Lunch
3.02 – 4.00                  After school

Parents are welcome to make payments    8.30am – 4.00pm   Monday – Thursday
8.30am – 3.00pm   Friday

The College accepts cash, cheques, EFTPOS and credit card payments.  Credit card payments can be made by phone when required.

RECEIPTS WILL BE ISSUED WITH ALL PAYMENTS. PLEASE RETAIN YOUR RECEIPTS, AS THESE MAY BE REQUIRED FOR TAX PURPOSES.

When parents/guardians need to collect students early from school, the following process should be used to ensure your child is ready when you arrive.

  • Put a note in student diary advising that your child needs to leave early
  • Your child shows the note to their teacher to leave class at the specified time
  • The teacher signs the diary and the child comes to the administration office
  • Students either wait for parents to collect them or they show administration staff their note
  • Parents or administration staff sign out students at departure as required
  • Students will only be released to people listed on the enrolment form as emergency contact

 

STUDENTS CANNOT BE RELEASED INTO THE CARE OF ANY PERSON UNLESS THEY ARE LISTED AS AN EMERGENCEY CONTACT FOR THAT STUDENT WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE PARENT/GUARDIAN.

PLEASE DO NOT USE MOBILE PHONES TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CHILD DURING SCHOOL HOURS

All students who arrive late must sign in at the attendance office located in the administration building before proceeding to class

 

Please ensure all contact details for your child are current. Including phone numbers, address and emergency contacts
To update student details, forms are always available at the College office

 

When a student requires prescribed medication to be administered during school
hours the following must apply

A Medication Authority Form (available at the office) is completed and given to the administration office with the medication. The medication must be in its original package.
* Pharmacy label must be attached.

No paracetamol or ‘over the counter’ medication can be administered at school under any circumstances.

When students feel unwell or have been injured at school, the following processes must be used.

The student asks their teacher for a note to visit sickbay
No student will be seen in sickbay by the first aid officer without a note from a teacher.
This ensures that class teachers are aware of your child’s situation
The students presents to sickbay and is assessed by the first aid officer.

 

When a child is too unwell to return to class, the parent/guardian will be contacted and
asked to collect their child from school
Students cannot remain at school indefinitely when they are unwell and parents/guardians are responsible for the collection of their children.
The College will try to contact parents/guardians initially. When we do not make contact the parents/guardians, emergency contacts will be called.

 

When emergency contacts are also unavailable, an Ambulance may be called at the College’s discretion.
  • All costs involved are the responsibility of the parents/guardians

When a serious injury requires immediate first aid, the student will be assessed by a first aid officer.

Our duty of care is to the child, therefore, at College discretion an Ambulance may be called if deemed necessary. We will endeavour to notify parents/guardians as soon as practicable.

 

All costs involved are the responsibility of the parents/guardians and therefore Ambulance membership is recommended.
Parents may be asked to collect their child and seek medical advice regarding the injury.

 

When a minor injury occurs

The student asks their teacher for a note to visit sickbay (Yard duty teacher if needed)
No student will be seen in sickbay by the first aid officer without a note from a teacher for minor injuries. This ensures that class teachers are aware of your child’s situation
The students presents to sickbay and is assessed by the first aid officer.

 

When a child is injured and cannot return to class, the parent/guardian will be
contacted and asked to collect their child from school
