Volleyball Academy

 

Training sessions are tailored to develop strategic gameplay alongside specialised strength and conditioning, with a particular focus on whole-body power for high vertical jump, spike and block movements. Sessions also target improvements in coordination and reaction time through weightlifting, plyometric, gymnastics-based and cardiovascular movements. All sessions are designed to challenge and engage students, encouraging them to develop beyond their current capabilities.

 

Students compete in competitions including:

  • School Sport Victoria Division, Regional and State competitions
  • Volleyball Victoria One Day Schools Cup
  • Volleyball Victoria 3 Day Schools Cup
  • Australian Volleyball Schools Cup (Queensland)
